Guerlain x Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Néroli Plein Sud by perfumer Delphine Jelk is the latest from Guerlain’s L’Art & La Matière collection hitting the stores. Inspired by the southern voyages undertaken by Antoine de Saint Exupéry – the renowned explorer, author, and close friend of Jacques Guerlain – its olfactory trail heads south toward Morocco, the homeland of Neroli. Aromas of turmeric and cinnamon hit the nose bright and lively like the blazing desert under the Moroccan sun high in the sky. As the scent moves over the dunes, strong woody notes of vetiver and sandalwood linger.

Hourglass

A primer and lipstick in one, Hourglass’s Soft Matte Lipstick is the newest addition to their Unlocked collection. Enriched with mango seed butter, avocado and argan oil, this weightless formula – available in 12 shades spanning from pink beige to true red – envelops your pout in sumptuous moisture, leaving a rich kiss of colour with a silky velvet finish.

For three-dimensional definition, follow with their Shade & Sculpt Lip Liner. Infused with nourishing Jojoba Oil, this ultra creamy, transfer-resistant lip liner effortlessly defines, shapes and sculpts.

Byredo

Inspired by the enduring intimacy of the haptic sense, Lucia Pica’s new Liquid Lipstick Matte reimagines the matte lipstick as a sensorial second skin. Made up of 10 high-pigmentation tones (ranging from “Muted Cry”, a warm nude; to rich rosewoods and browns like “Space In Between” and “Calmer”; vivid reds such as “Red Coma” and “Fire Grace”; and the deep burgundy of “Marriage”) the collection invokes the power of making a mark and announcing the inner you. Powered by vegan oils and shea butter, it not only delivers colour, but also comfort with its velvet-like texture that blurs and melds seamlessly.

Chantecaille

Philanthropy is a cornerstone of Chantecaille’s mission for the past 27 years. Their foundations, eyeshadows, blushes and lipsticks have raised money for a spectrum of creatures and habitats, from elephants, wild mustangs and bees to coral reefs, glaciers and rainforests. Now, Chantecaille adds sea turtles to that list with their new 2024 Spring Sea Turtle Collection. Inspired by the glittering sea and warm sands of South America where marine turtles thrive, it comprises of two Eye Trio’s, in Warm and Cool; and four Lip Chic’s, featuring two shades for each Warm and Cool colour story to seamlessly complement each corresponding Eye Trio. Sales from this collection will benefit the Amazon Conservation Team and its Ancestral Tides initiative.

Armani Beauty

To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, Armani Beauty has released a limited-edition My Armani To Go Cushion Red Dragon Case. This festive case is created with the environment in mind, featuring a red dragon scale-inspired pattern hot stamped in volume, and highlighted with touches of gold to symbolise good fortune and prosperity. Inside, the formula remains as silky smooth and lightweight as ever, thanks to its optimal water-oil ratio that not only instantly blurs away imperfections, but also cares for the skin over time.

Armani Beauty has also unveiled a new interpretation of its iconic Lip Maestro, called Lip Maestro Crush. This new liquid lipstick collection features four next-generation, soft vibrant shades in a new soft blurred matte packaging. There’s two new shades: the #533, a bright, fresh pink; and #314, a cool orange red. Then, the popular #321, reinterpreted as a desirable warm medium coral; and the existing Lip Maestro #200, an iconic nude, earthy brown shade. These shades boast a plush matte effect, obtained through a new powder-in-oil-in-gel technology, which blends spherical mattifying powders and a light-diffusing gel. They are combined with emollient oils for instant comfort that lasts.

What’s a fresh face without a good base? The new Designer Glow is packed with augmented, light-reflecting Prussian blue pearls and illuminating and caring ingredients like hyaluronic acid, lipidic complex and oils. It delivers an instant, perfected glow to enhance skin’s natural beauty, while improving the appearance of skin over time.

Tory Burch

Tory Burch wanted to capture the purest forms of her favourite fragrance notes: rose, vetiver and sandalwood. So she launched a new trio of fragrances. Called the Essence of Dreams Layering Oils, the range is made up of Essence of Rose, an intoxicating blend of Bulgarian rose and rose water with a boost of bergamot; Essence of Vetiver, made of Madagascar vetiver oil with ambrette absolute and bergamot; and Essence of Sandalwood, which balances sweet and woody balsamic and cedar notes with Australian sandalwood. Formulated with avocado oil, vitamin E and olive oil, and housed in a delicate dropper bottle, the oils can both worn alone or layered with your favourite fragrances.

Nars Cosmetics

Nars has whipped up a limited-edition collection of its best-selling icons to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Packed with pure pigments and colour-locking ingredients, the Powermatte Lipstick in the pinky-brown shade Start Me Up delivers intense colour payoff with just one swipe. Lock it all in with the Light Reflecting Setting Powder Set. Photochromic technology diffuses and adjusts to new sources of light, ensuring skin that looks perfect both in person and on camera. While Nars’ Light Reflecting Complex creates a soft focus effect by optimising light reflection to optically fade fine lines, wrinkles, and pores. They are all dressed up in a striking red – to symbolise good fortune, in case you were wondering.

You will also find an alluring new line-up of their Afterglow delights. Featuring hybrid formulas infused with blissful, skin-caring benefits and sultry shades, the Sweet Sensations Collection consists of the Afterglow Irresistible Eyeshadow Palette, three new shades of Afterglow Liquid Blush, and six new Afterglow Sensual Shine Lipsticks.

Serge Lutens

Serge Lutens celebrates ten years of L’orpheline, originally launched in 2014 as part of their Collection Noire, with a limited-edition bottle design which sees a slender ballerina manipulated by the strings of her puppeteer. Inspired by the poet Orpheus, the fragrance itself is suffused with nostalgia, featuring principal notes of black pepper, dry woods and incense.

Jo Malone

Jo Malone has introduced a collection of three limited-edition rose scents, each offering a different interpretation of this timeless floral note. The petal-fresh Rose Blush features vibrant basil and a juicy note of lychee for a modern twist, cocooned in the comforting embrace of white musk. Next, Rose & Magnolia balances its two hero notes with sensual patchouli and amber, while Rose Damascena and Rose de Mai add a further dimension. Lastly, Rose Amber is inspired by one of England’s most enduring floral heroines, the emblematic Tudor rose. The English flower is, naturally, central to this scent, warmed with notes of clove and amber for the powerful edge that defines the Tudors. The limited-edition designs are all decorated with a graphic image of the rose and complemented by special packaging finished with rebellious statements of love.
