Victoria Beckham turns 50 today. David Ho looks back at Posh Spice’s best fashion moments

Even back in her Spice Girls’ days, Victoria knew the power of the little black dress. She wasn’t called Posh for no reason!

One can’t deny that Victoria made her stamp on pop culture, as seen in this recent commemorative Royal Mail stamp in one of her Girl Power era little black dresses.

Victoria Beckham (aka Midnight Miss Suki) rocking a catsuit for the “Say You’ll Be There” music video. This was filmed in the Mojave Desert in California on September 7 and 8, 1996.

In 1999, Victoria and David’s wore matching outfits to a Versace dinner event. “It haunts me, it does haunt me, but I love it,” she told Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen about the outfit coordination in 2022. “We were wearing Gucci and it was a Versace dinner, which is inappropriate in itself,” she added.

Victoria also celebrates her 25th wedding anniversary to David in July this year. Over the years, she has shared 90’s quality videos of their 1999 nuptials, where she sported champagne and purple gowns.

In the 2000’s, Victoria was the ultimate style icon for WAGs (wives and girlfriends of footballers), whether on or off the stage.

A lot of her red carpet looks in the 2010’s were of simple but elegant dresses.

Victoria stayed true to her Posh Spice persona when performing at the 2012 Olympics.

These days, Victoria mainly favours menswear-inspired silhouettes for her many public appearances. She and her daughter-in-law wear tailored suits from Victoria’s own fashion line, as seen here on the red carpet with her sons.

Whether serious on the red carpet or having a laugh with her husband, Victoria exudes effortless chic in a suit.

Trust Victoria to turn a white shirt and jeans combo into another fashion moment. She wore this in an Uber Eats ad making fun of her viral moment with husband David in their Netflix documentary Beckham.

In an Instagram post, Victoria celebrates turning 50 by stripping off her classic pant-suit look. Happy birthday!
