Staying in got you feeling down? There’s nothing that a little retail therapy can’t make better. Whether you’re in the market for streetwear, sleepwear, sneakers or sunglasses, there’s a Hong Kong-based brand for you.

Anaïs Jourden

Known for its playful A-line dresses and separates, Anaïs Jourden is carefully crafted from a variety of delicate lace, shiny lurex and brocade. A favourite from the AW20 collection is the drop-waist black lace dress, styled with a cropped metallic twin set.

Sau Lee

Founded by Hong Kong native Cheryl Leung, Sau Lee is a womenswear label that celebrates the female form and often fuses influences from East and West. The brand’s Jill dress, a Chinese jacquard pencil dress is a chic take on the classic cheongsam, is perfect for a special occasion.

Shanghai Tang

A Hong Kong brand that needs no introduction, Shanghai Tang and its creative director, Victoria Tang-Owen, make a strong case for staying chic while staying in. We love the contrast piping details and the Chinese character for “sleep” etched onto the pocket of this piece.

Shanghai Tang Mansion, 1 Duddell Street, Central, Hong Kong

Call it whatever you like – sleepwear, loungewear or homewear – but it’s essentially what we’ve been living in lately. Lois Tien’s new brand, SoL, presents a capsule of easy separates that are made from the softest materials and promise to feel like a second skin.

YanYan

Founded by former Rag & Bone director of knitwear Phyllis Chan with Hong Kong designer Suzzie Chung, YanYan is not your traditional sweater brand. Each knitwear creation is fun and eclectic and, dare we say, granny-chic. We’ve got our eye on the Fafa shrunken cardigan and bell bottom set.
