Star struck

Just in time for your summer outings and getaways, Ferragamo is launching a new iconic accessory in the form of a large, deconstructed tote with folded sides that create a star shape. Made of tumbled calfskin and treated with vegetable anilines for a soft, rich touch, the unisex style features deep handles for wearing either by hand or on the shoulder and five metallic studs on the base that protect the bag when put on the floor. New colourways this season include a delicate sky blue – the fil-rouge of Ferragamo’s entire ready-to-wear and accessories collection – cement grey and bi-colour versions in optic white and sky blue, or cement grey and dark brown.

Time travel

Rimowa has long epitomised innovation and high-tech design, but its latest collaboration with New York-based fashion and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore harks back to the golden era of travel in the early 20th century. Manufactured in Germany and assembled by hand, the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore Chest and Cabin use the design codes of the luggage brand’s iconic Classic range while embracing Aimé Leon Dore’s signature green hue. Other highlights include brown leather-made handles and straps as well as a bespoke resilient nylon lining with a unique patterning of ancient Greek stamp iconography, a signature artwork by Aimé Leon Dore.

Good enough to eat

Taking luxury to delectable new heights, the Black Diamond Caviar Tin Charm brings together two Hong Kong brands while uniting the worlds of fine jewellery and farm-to-table caviar. The collaborative creation of Chantel Shafie Jewellery and Nomad Caviar is handmade in Hong Kong using recycled 18k gold and ethically sourced black diamonds, with a generously sized blue enamel tin inlaid with a mother-of-pearl caviar spoon and engraving of the edition. Presented on an optional 18k gold caviar-shaped ball chain and perfect for layering with Shafie’s iconic medallion necklaces, this unique piece is available on Nomad Caviar’s website.

The write stuff

When Montblanc introduced its all-black fountain pen – the Meisterstück, or “masterpiece” in German – in 1924, it opened a bold new chapter in the history of writing culture. Now, after a century of its continuous use and popularity, Montblanc is inviting writing enthusiasts to rediscover the defining features of the iconic instrument with Meisterstück The Origin Collection. Available in a variety of designs and materials, each new edition is decorated with a special design nib showing the number “100” and the years “1904” and “2024” as well as an engraving of the original Meisterstück logo on the side of the cap.

After introducing the first D-Lux digital compact camera in 2003, Leica is launching its new D-Lux 8 on July 2. Bringing the Leica experience into a more compact and accessible form, the latest version features simplified and ergonomically repositioned controls and a more user-friendly interface inspired by the popular Leica Q-Cameras. In addition to a 4/3” CMOS sensor 21MP (17MP effective) and fast Leica DC Vario-Summilux 10.9–34 f/1.7–2.8 ASPH. lens (35mm camera equivalent to 24-75mm), it’s also the first D-Lux that features the versatile DNG format. And it’s being offered with a range of accessories from straps to bags.
