Bvlgari’s ‘Serpenti Through the Eyes of’ series began with a collaboration with British shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood in 2017. It returned for two collections with Alexander Wang, and now, they’re launching Serpenti Through the Eyes of Ambush.
The timeless Roman luxury brand has joined forces with Tokyo-based fashion label Ambush, whose contemporary edge have made fans out of celebrities like Rihanna and Kanye West. “For this capsule collection I wanted to express the bold and contemporary character of Serpenti”, said Yoon Ahn, creative director of Ambush. “Snakes are wondrous and fascinating creatures of nature but with Bvlgari they also became a symbol of glamour in constant evolution.”
Shot by Tyler Mitchell, the campaign sees supermodel Bella Hadid, Xiao Wen Ju and Ellen Rosa sporting the new Serpenti handbags and accessories. Ambush puts a playful yet effortlessly cool spin on the snake motif, with cushy nappa leather bags in neon colours reminiscent of Tokyo’s bright city lights.
There are three unique bag styles in total: a boxy top handle purse, an extremely versatile belt bag, and a heart-shaped minaudière that also comes in an edgy aluminium variant. The capsule collection also carries wallets, card holders, coin purses, and the iconic multi-coiled Serpenti bracelets.
The Serpenti Through the Eyes of AMBUSH collection will be available online and across Bvlgari stores worldwide come September. Head to the Bvlgari website to pre-order the limited edition pieces here.
