#legendevents: Rituals and The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel lead wellness charge into 2023

#legend, Rituals and the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong partnered to kickstart 2023 with a dose of wellness

With the new year comes a fresh start. The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel joined hands with sustainable home and body products brand Ritual and #legend magazine to host a Wellness Day on January 12.

The hotel is known as a sustainability-minded oceanfront resort with a diversified wellness programme. The establishment received the WELL Precertification under the WELL Building Standard v2 – the first in Hong Kong and mainland China – which is an award that recognises a “project’s intent to implement health and well-being strategies”. As part of its offering, the hotel offers the Fullerton Experience and Fitness Programme.

In line with the hotel’s value of promoting sustainability and wellness is Rituals, bringing to the forefront its Ritual of Mehr collection. This involves uplifting products that are designed to inspire joy in everyday life. This summer collection contains brightening properties of vitamin C, which promotes that healthy summer glow, leaving your skin feeling soft and revitalised.

Together with #legend whose January magazine issue centres around the theme of wellness, they have invited 15 prominent wellness KOLs, influencers and lifestyle bloggers for a day at the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel. The programme includes sound healing with Fullerton instructor, Tsz Wai, in a room preset with Rituals body mist and diffuser to soothe the mind and body; a Fullerton Spa tour; an afternoon tea with drinks at the Fullerton Pool Suite; and a Rituals product workshop.

The guest list includes Victor Chau, Ifat Hindes, Minnie Wong, Calista Lam, Alycia Chan, and Michelle Z among many others.

“Wellness is a lifestyle,” says Michelle Z, a content creator with over 33K followers on Instagram. “[It is] a symbol of well-being in body, mind and soul. To have the bravery to cut off the toxic crowd around you, and [to have] the sensitivity towards kindness.”

As Hong Kong opens up to the rest of the world, there are certain priorities we need to put in place. “The mentality is to keep it calm and not draw ourselves into that spiral of conspiracies,” Michelle Z says. “Opening up brings along risk and opportunities, the future is ever-changing and unknown, [trying] to have an open mind and let go is the right mindset.”

Another lifestyle content creator Minnie Wong adds, “Our minds control our lives. Cultivate a grateful and positive mindset for both our good and bad days.”
