An entrepreneur, fashion designer and photographer, Kayla Wong is a multi-talented individual who is also actively involved in the development of Hong Kong’s LGBTQ+ community. She is also the eldest daughter of Hong Kong celebrity couple Janet Ma and Michael Wong. After studying in the UK, she returned to Hong Kong and founded Basics for Basics, a sustainable slow fashion brand that has caught the public attention for its minimalistic designs. Wong is also a self-taught photographer, who launched Casa of Love to put the spotlight on LGBTQ+ relationships. Recently, she married the love of her life, Elaine Chen-Fernandez and has settled down in their marital crib in Los Angeles. Nevertheless, her unwavering commitment to promoting pride and equality has inspired many of her followers and provides an example of how influencers can use their platform to create a positive change in the community.
