Kayla Wong

Kayla Wong is a versatile entrepreneur, fashion designer, and photographer. As founder and creative director of Lang, an online retail concept celebrating Asian creators, she is preparing for the brand’s first anniversary in September. Lang, which means “beautiful” in Cantonese, aims to connect the creative scenes of Hong Kong and Los Angeles. Wong is the eldest daughter of Hong Kong celebrities Janet Ma and Michael Wong. She is also an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, having launched Casa of Love, a photography project that highlights LGBTQ+ relationships. Married to Elaine Chen-Fernandez for over a year, Wong and her wife currently reside in Los Angeles, where she actively promotes pride and equality, serving as an inspiration to her followers.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

I wanted to be a ballerina, dancing has always been my happy place.
