Tim Fung

Born in Canada, but based in Hong Kong, Tim Fung is a creative consultant. He specialises in crafting digital and social media content for clients throughout Asia. Aside from his work, Fung loves to travel and enjoys sharing this with his followers on Instagram. His eye for aesthetics is clear with his pristine feed and edited posts. His likeable personal brand of endless beaming images has attracted various companies to work with him including Lane Crawford, Nespresso and Nike. He has embarked on many exciting ventures this year, including collaborating with Cathay, travelling to London for content-related work and collaborating with Marriott Bonvoy on their select hotels.

What is something your followers might not know about you?

As much as I enjoy working out and hiking, I am also a huge snacker, especially at night! So one of my favourite things to do is vegging out in front of the television and opening a pack of Pretz (the Salad flavour) and something sweet like chocolate with a glass of red, and just unwind!

If you were a brand, what would be your motto?

Belong anywhere and everywhere.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

I always wanted to be either a musician or a teacher. But as I got older, I realised how much I enjoyed creating things through visual images and words. That is how I landed in the world of social media and digital marketing!

What inspires you?

New and unexpected places, cuisines and music inspires my creativity and way of life.

What has been your favorite memory this year?

I would have to say either skiing the slopes of Val d’Isere or spending the week with my family in Vancouver. I always believe the heart of life lies in a happy family and as I get older, I just crave quality time with them. With three boys in the family and our significant others, it can definitely get a little chaotic during family dinners but there is always so much love.
