6 luxury brands introducing stylish pet products

Premium Pet Supplies Expo opens in Hong Kong, and we can never have enough accessories to style up our four-legs friends. From Celine to Thom Browne, here are five luxury brands with their very own pet collection

The House’s Gucci Pet Collection offers a wide range of items designed for dogs and cats that combines high-quality materials and craftsmanship with innovation. The new line continues the narrative behind Gucci Lifestyle, launched in September 2021.

The offering includes collars and harnesses in plain leather, GG canvas, Web stripe, or the Herbarium or all-over geometric G print, and embellished with details like the Interlocking G logo or studs. Leashes in varying lengths and widths, bag holders, and Air Tag cases, are all available in the same materials and motifs to coordinate or mix and match. In addition, there is also a selection of items that serve as designs for the home and travel.

Celine

Celine has recently launched a collection of dog accessories, ranging from dog bowls and leashes to dog collars and toys. This early-June-released pet collection is crafted with Celine’s signature leather and the iconic design of Triomphe.

Initially designed by Hedi Slimane for his dog Elvis, the collection purely expresses dog owners’ love and cares. Dog collars and leashes are varied in size and thickness. Bags branded with “DOG” or “CAT” is valued at HK$18,500 each.

*Fun fact: Elvis is also the star of the campaign.

Fendi

Fendi’s luxury pet collection includes a leash, pet carrier, dog coat and collar, all of which come in the signature FF motif in brown and tobacco. In addition, it adds pendants with FF on the collar and necklace to count elegant notes to the collection.

Embodying Fendi’s signature FF pattern to calf leather, it also presents the plastic bag holder in two colours – black and brown. The cylindrical-shaped holder has a press stud fastening to secure a refill roll.

Hermès

Hermès has a solid pet collection comprising of a blanket, flying disk, dog bed, dog leash, and harness. Late last year, it expanded its lineup of luxury goods with an extra stylish food bowl for dogs. Crafted from oak wood, the bowl is imprinted with the French house’s iconic Chaine d’Ancre motif. The design can detach the stainless steel bowls from the wooden bases with magnets.

Its carrying bags are highlights of the collection too. Made with water-resistant and breathable fabric, it presents the colours of the Hermes equestrian line. Don’t worry – it is a cabin-approved size.

Thom Browne

It’s everyone’s dream to wear matching outfits with your loved ones. It’s said that dogs and their owners often look alike, and that’s perhaps the idea Mr Thom Browne had in mind when designing this canine cardigan. Knitted in Italy with premium cashmere, Hector Striped Cashmere Dog Cardigan comes with adjustable side slits to customise the fit.

Fashioned in the brand’s iconic teal hue, Tiffany & Co also presents a list of pet accessories. Pet lovers can select the perfect product to spoil their furkids, from adorable blue-tinted cat and dog bowls to collars and leashes.

Made in Tiffany blue leather and accompanied by a palladium-plated metal hardware pendant, the collar is sized from extra small to extra large.

Hong Kong’s Premium Pet Supplies Expo runs from today to Sunday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
