With the 2026 FIFA World Cup just around the corner, football culture has once again moved far beyond the pitch. From luxury fashion houses to cult streetwear labels, brands are embracing the tournament through collaborations blending football heritage with contemporary style. So if you are looking for a World Cup jersey this year but want something more fashion-forward beyond match season, these seven collections are worth knowing
Jacquemus x Nike x French Football Federation

As part of Nike’s ambitious X2 World Cup collection pairing designers with national teams, French luxury label Jacquemus brought its refined sensibility to Les Bleus. The capsule centres around a sleek royal blue pre-match jersey accented with subtle red-and-white pinstripes inspired by the French flag, alongside the iconic Gallic rooster crest. Compared to traditional football merchandise, the collection feels cleaner, more elevated and distinctly Parisian in its overall aesthetic.
Peaceminusone x Nike x Korea Football Association

Also part of the X2 project, G-Dragon brought back his label Peaceminusone for a collaboration with the Korea Football Association titled “Tigers of Asia.” The collection blends football culture with the Bigbang star’s signature visual language through black-and-red jerseys, outerwear and tracksuits featuring brand’s iconic floral motif. Notably, the capsule also introduces a collaborative Nike CryoShot boot finished in a clean white-and-red palette with intentionally aged detailing.
Kith x Adidas x Lionel Messi

Moving over to the three stripes, Adidas teamed up with American lifestyle label Kith alongside football icon Lionel Messi. Celebrating Messi’s 20 years in professional football and Kith’s 15th anniversary, the collection includes Argentina-inspired jerseys, tracksuits and six footwear styles. Highlights range from lifestyle silhouettes like the Handball Spezial to the F50 Walkable Cleat, directly inspired by the boots Messi wore during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Palace Skateboards x Nike x England

Meanwhile, Palace Skateboards also joined Nike’s X2 project with a capsule celebrating England’s national team. Dubbed “The Three Lions by Palace,” the collection channels classic blokecore energy through varsity jackets, joggers and zip-ups. The standout piece, however, is a St George’s Cross-inspired jersey featuring stained glass graphics that fuse football culture with British heritage, while appearances from football stars Wayne Rooney and Jill Scott add even more authenticity to the campaign.
Willy Chavarria x Adidas x Selección Nacional de México

For Mexico’s national team, Mexican-American designer Willy Chavarria brought his oversized silhouettes and distinctly Chicano-inspired design language to Adidas for “Comienza Con El Sueño.” The collection blends rugby shirts, football jerseys and tracksuits with retro oversized fits, Mexico-inspired colour palettes and heritage motifs. Combining sporting tradition with contemporary streetwear aesthetics, the capsule pushes football apparel into more fashion-forward territory while remaining rooted in Mexican football culture.
Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike x US Men’s National Team

Back to Nike’s wide-ranging X2 initiative, the sportswear giant honoured Virgil Abloh’s lasting influence on fashion and football culture through a capsule created with the Virgil Abloh Archive for the US Men’s National Team. Inspired by Abloh’s deconstructed Off-White aesthetic, the collection transforms varsity staples into football-inspired streetwear through rugby shirts, oversized typography and the bold red “ARCH” Swoosh, perfectly translating Virgil’s unmistakable design language into the football world.
Stone Island x New Balance

Aside from collaborations with national teams, Stone Island and New Balance also leaned into terrace culture for a football-focused capsule ahead of the World Cup. Fronted by Bukayo Saka and Endrick, the collection spans garment-dyed kits, glossy Nylon Prismatico outerwear, accessories and the technically layered ABZORB 1890 trainer. Blending 1990s football aesthetics with Stone Island’s signature material innovation and New Balance performance engineering, the collaboration feels especially authentic to football fan culture.
