Pamper yourself in the lap of luxury at the first Dior Spa in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). David Ho checks out what exclusive treatments are available there

The UAE’s first Dior Spa has opened its doors at The Lana, Dubai. Located on the 29^th floor, it consists of five treatment rooms and one couple’s suite. 

The Lana and the Dior Spa have stayed faithful to the vision of Christian Dior, the French designer who had a special relationship with Dorchester Collection’s Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris that houses the Dior Spa Plaza Athénée.

“Dior has been a long-standing partner of ours at Dorchester Collection, so we are delighted to continue this successful collaboration at our newest hotel. Dior Spa The Lana perfectly captures the essence of Dior’s philosophy and expertise in wellness. It will be a destination that reflects our commitment to delivering an exceptional well-being experience for our guests,” stated Helen Smith and Eugenio Pirri, joint CEOs at Dorchester Collection, The Lana’s parent company.

The Dior Spa will house three signature treatments exclusive to The Lana are including the Escale, Dior Stone Therapy, and D-Sculpt. 

The Escale blends Japanese-inspired rituals with innovative relaxation methods on a futon, defying gravity to soothe both body and mind. This experience combines deep massage strokes with full body stretching to release tension and foster tranquillity. 

Meanwhile, the Dior Stone Therapy is a massage experience done with semi-precious stones strategically placed on the body to harmonise energy flow. It is complemented by facial micro-abrasion with sapphire crystals and the rejuvenating glow of the Dior Skin Light LED Therapy mask. 

Finally, the D-Sculpt combines firming and slimming properties through a skilful fusion of wood, dry brushing, toning techniques, and manual “skin lift” methods to deliver anti-cellulite effects.

The Dior Spa at The Lana, Dubai will also introduce a multitude a treatments aimed at a male clientele, including a luxury barber experience, The Dior Athletic Therapy for post-exercise recovery, wellness add-ons, and full or half-day retreats.
