“…Power, in its most compelling form, is rarely a question of size. In jewellery, it lies in structure and in the precision of what is built beneath the surface. This is a philosophy that Boucheron has long mastered through Quatre, a collection that distils four of the Maison’s most enduring motifs into a singular and unmistakable signature.

In 2026, that signature is reimagined through Quatre XS, a study in reduction that feels anything but diminished. Instead, it becomes sharper and more refined while gaining a new sense of intensity. To understand Quatre is to read the Maison itself..…”

The Grosgrain recalls the pleated silk of haute couture and reflects Frédéric Boucheron’s early ties to fashion. The Double Godron draws from 1860s architectural columns and conveys a quiet strength. The Clou de Paris captures the texture of cobbled streets in Paris, while the Line of Diamonds introduces a precise and luminous rhythm. When these four codes were brought together in 2004, they formed a design language that feels both graphic and enduring. The pieces are crafted in three tones of 18K gold and enriched with the Maison’s distinctive brown PVD, which gives them a recognisable identity.

Over the past two decades, Quatre has evolved with restraint and has never strayed from its core. Instead, it has continued to refine its language. Under the direction of Claire Choisne, the universe has expanded into more sculptural territory. The Quatre Classique Tube, introduced in 2025, reflects this shift as tubular gold forms create architectural lines while still contouring the body with ease.

Now, Quatre XS distils this entire vocabulary into a more intimate scale. The proportions are slimmer yet the presence remains. Each motif is constructed individually and then assembled with near-imperceptible precision, so there is no margin for error. Mirror-polished surfaces extend across both interior and exterior planes and push craftsmanship to its limits. At the same time, the application of PVD requires absolute control so that every edge stays sharp and every reflection remains clear.

Beyond technique, there is intention. Quatre XS invites a new kind of styling that allows pieces to be layered or stacked, or worn alone with quiet confidence. A newly introduced Quatre Black Edition bracelet brings a sharper and more graphic tension to the wrist, while a new ring unites Grosgrain and Double Godron into a single gesture. The Quatre Radiant Edition further expands the offering through white gold creations set with diamonds in varied cuts, and includes stud earrings, cord necklaces, and bracelets.

The narrative culminates in the campaign ‘Quatre is getting mini’, featuring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Han So-hee and Dilan Çiçek Deniz, who each interpret the idea of scale in their own way. Through their lens, scale becomes something to explore rather than something that defines.

In the end, Quatre does not rely on size to assert itself. Its power lies in the balance between heritage and modernity and in craftsmanship that is rendered with precision and worn with intent.
