Porsche GT welcomes an even more exhilarating addition with the new 911 GT3 S/C, an open-top sports car that captures the true essence of driving. At its heart lies a high-revving, naturally aspirated boxer engine, delivering an unmistakable soundtrack with every acceleration, while integrating driver-focused features inspired by the philosophy behind icons such as the limited-edition 911 Speedster and 911 S/T.
The 911 GT3 S/C has been engineered with driving excitement as its core priority. It combines the lightweight construction of the 911 S/T with the 4.0-litre naturally aspirated boxer engine from the 911 GT3, producing 375 kW (510 hp) and 450 Nm of torque. Its design stands out with elements borrowed from the 911 S/T, including the wings and doors, complemented by a distinctive black windscreen frame that reinforces its unique identity.
Staying true to its driver-centric concept, this special model comes exclusively with a lightweight six-speed manual gearbox featuring short ratios, delivering a pure and engaging driving experience in true Porsche fashion. Notably, the 911 GT3 S/C is the only current open-top model in the 911 line-up configured as a strict two-seater, evoking the spirit of the 2019 911 Speedster.
While not a limited-edition model like the Speedster, customers can opt for a new Street Style package to further personalise the car and express their individuality. Frank Moser, Head of the 911 and 718 model lines, describes the new GT3 S/C as a car built for those who seek uncompromising driving pleasure: “The emotional drivetrain of the 911 GT3 becomes even more intense when experienced in an open-top format on winding roads, while maintaining a kerb weight of just 1,497 kilograms—even with a fully electric fabric roof.”
In terms of design, the car forgoes the double-bubble roof structure seen on the 911 Speedster in favour of a lightweight electric fabric roof with an advanced magnesium frame. When closed, it preserves the elegant silhouette of a coupé, with smooth, uninterrupted lines flowing seamlessly from the windscreen to the rear deck. The signature 911 flyline remains intact, enhancing both aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency. A lightweight hydraulic mechanism allows the roof to open or close in approximately 12 seconds, even while driving at speeds of up to 60 km/h.
Andreas Preuninger, Director of GT Model Lines, notes that insights gained from the 911 Speedster and 718 Spyder RS have proven that combining a high-revving naturally aspirated engine with a performance-focused chassis and comprehensive lightweight construction creates the ideal driver-focused open-top sports car. The 911 GT3 S/C also marks the first time a double wishbone front suspension has been introduced in an open-top 911, significantly enhancing grip and precision—particularly on winding roads.

Exclusively for owners, Porsche Design presents a timepiece that reflects the design and performance of the car: the Chronograph 911 GT3 S/C. Powered by the COSC-certified Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.200 with a flyback function, the watch features an ultra-lightweight titanium case, with an optional black titanium carbide coating. The GT3-inspired dial incorporates yellow accents and a hexagonal pattern reminiscent of the car’s instrument cluster, while the winding rotor echoes the design of magnesium wheels. Owners can further customise the dial ring colour and strap using materials from the vehicle’s interior, creating a timepiece as individual as the car itself.
