#obsessed: Top picks from Acne Studios, Dries Van Noten, Bang & Olufsen, and more

This month, #legend is #obsessed with the latest from Acne Studios, Dries Van Noten, Bang & Olufsen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Loewe, and Moncler x Sacai

All wrapped up

Stockholm-based fashion house Acne Studios is determined to keep customers warm and cosy this season with its reinvented collection of wool, cashmere and mohair scarves.
The iconic range of oversized and skinny styles, captured in playful images by French photographer Jean-Marie Binet, features novel colourways and patterns including check, solid, tartan and stripes. New for FW23 is a chequered scarf with oversize logo and a tonal logo jacquard scarf, among others. Select styles are personalisable with colourful embroidered letters, numbers and Acne Studios symbols, making for an ideal gift.

A thing of beauty

Dries Van Noten has long been known for his psychedelic colours, prints and bold avant- garde mixed designs. Now the renowned Belgian fashion designer brings his unique vision to the world of beauty with a launch edit of eaux de parfums, lipsticks and accessories. From the fragrance bottles that create a striking visual statement through the playful use of juxtaposed materials, patterns and textures to the perfect balance of elegance and surprise found in the 30 lipstick hues, Dries Van Noten Beauty is a tribute to the art of beauty itself. It’s also committed to safeguarding the planet and its people, with a range of sustainable practices in place.

Pitch perfect

Nothing captures the festive spirit like listening to a Christmas carol or holiday jingle. This year you and your loved ones can make the most of the experience with a state-of-the- art device from Bang & Olufsen. The Danish luxury audio brand has curated a selection of products for the gifting season, including its Beoplay EX true wireless active noise-cancelling earbuds (pictured, top, in Gold Tone) and Beosound A5 portable speaker (pictured, bottom, in Dark Oak). Not only do they offer astounding sound and convenience on the go, but their exquisite design and meticulous craftsmanship are sure to please anyone on your list.

Enter the dragon

Created to coincide with Chinese New Year, the latest addition to Jaeger-LeCoultre’s iconic Reverso collection of timepieces pays tribute to the majestic dragon. The Reverso Tribute Enamel ‘Dragon’, which makes its worldwide debut in Hong Kong this month, showcases the talents of the master enamellers and engravers in the manufacture’s Métiers Rares atelier with a stunningly detailed dragon appearing to leap out from the glossy black Grand Feu enamel case back. Using an exacting technique called modelled engraving, the master engraver devoted 80 hours to the creation of this masterpiece. Made only to order.

Child’s play

The holidays are feeling even more magical than usual at Loewe this year, thanks to its collaboration with Kyoto-based ceramic studio Suna Fujita. The whimsical collection brings Suna Fujita founders Shohei Fujita and Chisato Yamano’s unique characters – inspired by their imagination, childhood memories, and life with their son and pet dog – to knitwear, bags and more. Loewe will also donate part of the proceeds from every Loewe x Suna Fujita purchase to Save the Children’s Education in Emergencies programme, which works to guarantee safe learning environments for children in humanitarian crisis situations around the world.

Back to the future

Consisting of two full looks for men and two for women – one in total black and the other in shades of off-white and ecru, each in a multi-piece form that can be disconnected and reconnected in new ways – Moncler x Sacai is a meeting of both minds and hearts. Conceived by Chitose Abe on the occasion of Moncler’s 70th anniversary in 2022, the collection seeks to explore what the brand’s next 70 years might look like and offers pieces that bridge the first 70 years with the next to usher in a new era. Sacai’s hybrid-inflected aesthetic shines through as the tailored and formal merge with the practical, and the feminine with the pragmatic.
