Top three collections from SS21:

Peter Do, Noir Kei Ninomiya and Mugler

Trend you’re most looking forward to trying, and how you’d style it?

I didn’t see a specific “trend” per se from SS21, especially now that physical shows have been replaced by digital formats. However, I have been dreaming to wear the Prada coat-clutching cape, which was inspired by Miuccia’s signature gesture from its SS21 collection.

I would love to put it on a rock song singer with a plain rib white tank top and ripped jeans for a shoot to clash it with a carefree attitude. That piece is also perfect for tai tai’s to wear while shopping at LANDMARK. I can imagine how they walk from their car to Joël Robuchon for lunch.

Your favourite footwear from SS21:

Nodaleto’s Mary Janes aka. “Bulla Babies Black Glassed.”

Favourite bags of the season:

Chanel’s neon print foldable tote bag and the Medea x Peter Do leather baguette.

Most desirable accessories:

Beret hat from Dior Men.

Any new discoveries for SS21?

I think most of the SS21 collections predict that people aren’t going to be very keen on “dressing up”, hence their focus on comfort and sustainability. It goes to show that most people want to spend their money on something that can be worn for more than five times and lasts for at least a few years. Therefore, I personally think the collections from SS21 are more practical than usual. I guess we all need comfy clothes to help us slowly recover from the damage done by the pandemic.

What are you most looking forward to for SS21?

I really look forward to seeing fashion people at events, styling themselves in the most exciting way to remind us that fashion can be and is a form of escapism during tough times.

Top three collections from SS21:

Givenchy, Prada and Simone Rocha.

Trend you’re most looking forward to trying, and how you’d style it?

Midriff flossing – ensembles that have ties that wrap around the waistline. I’d style it with flared jeans or a leather pencil skirt.

Your favourite footwear from SS21:

Prada kitten heels.

Favourite bags of the season:

Chanel’s Mirco 2.55 bag and the Givenchy cut-out bag.

Most desirable accessories:

Earrings from Paris based accessories label D’heygere, and rings from Shushu Tong.

Any new discoveries for SS21?

I’ve always been a fan of Raf Simons, so the Prada x Raf first womenswear collection was definitely one of the highlights of the season, even though I personally prefer his menswear. I’m definitely looking forward to more surprises from Raf in the coming seasons.

Top three collections from SS21:

Valentino, Prada and Louis Vuitton.

Your favourite footwear from SS21:

I’m obsessed with the Louis Vuitton Pillow Boot!

Favourite bag of the season:

Manu Atelier’s Mini Roxy bag in water green – it’s a beautiful shade of mint green that’s easy to match and feels super fresh.

Most desirable accessories:

I’m dying to get a French Bulldog, and a Prada dog collar and leash to go with.

Anything you’re looking forward to trying for SS21?

Looking forward to the most colourful and graphical explosion of optimism — we all need some positive outcome out of this COVID coma!

Top 3 collections from SS21:

It’s hard to pick just three – I really like Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne, Acne Studios, Proenza Schouler, Y/Project and also Raf Simon’s first women’s collection for Prada did not disappoint!

Trend you’re most looking forward to trying, and how you’d style it?

Those lace-trimmed silk briefs as shorts from Saint Laurent. I’d probably wear them with stockings underneath and a long-length blazer.

Your favourite footwear from SS21:

Knife heels from Saint Laurent, and there’s a caged platform sandal with Bottega Veneta in a woven material that looked amazing in photos – I can’t wait to see the real thing! I also love the boots from the latest Jimmy Choo x Marine Serre collaboration.

Favourite bags of the season:

I’m lusting over all these tiny fit-nothing bags I’ve seen on the runway (like the ones from Chanel SS21 show), but when it comes down to usability, I love the oversized raffia totes from Proenza Schouler and Tod’s. And there was a wicker Baguette from the Fendi show that looked beautiful on the runway.

Most desirable accessories:

Orange tinted sunglasses from Saint Laurent and Miu Miu (Warhol vibes) and jewellery from Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s final collection at Chloe.

Any new discoveries for SS21?

Not necessarily new for SS21, but I’m loving Georgian fashion label @daloodtbilisi and Beijing fashion label @maisonsanstitre. I’ve been looking a lot into minimalist labels like @le17septembre @lowclassic_seoul and @_la_collection_ in the recent months.

What are you most looking forward to for SS21?

Hopefully being able to dress up again for special occasions! Fashion Weeks, packed parties and events really feel like a distant memory.

Top three collections from SS21:

Prada, Loewe and Christian Cowan.

Trend you’re most looking forward to trying, and how you’d style it?

Extra-large, wide trousers is one of the must-have items for men for SS21. I’d love to try the ones from Y/Project.

Your favourite footwear from SS21:

Prada Monolith brushed leather and nylon shoes: this is my favourite shoe of the season. It’s easy to match and can work with street style vibes like wide denim pants or even more fitted trousers.

Also, Rick Owens’ thigh-high platform: a very high-length boot to to the hip, in both pink and red, which is also very architectural in style and great for styling!

Favourite bags of the season:

Simplified, medium-sized bags that can be worn right under the arm, such as the Prada Cleo (the first bag from Raf Simons at Prada) and the Ava in smooth calfskin from Celine. I also love the Flamenco Ondas pleated leather clutch from Loewe. It’s such a unique piece.

Most desirable accessories:

Masks! Whether we like it or not, it’s definitely one of the main accessories we use daily, so I think it’s nice to find ways to have it complement your look. Prada Symbol earrings that are simple, easy to wear and chic! And harnesses. I’ve seen a variety of harnesses this season and they’re a great statement piece to accessorise with.

Anything you’re looking forward to trying in SS21?

I want to try skateboarding! I’ve seen labels like Loewe offer a variety of decks for the new season. Also, oversized and structural jewellery. There are some great big chains from Hermes, earrings from Chloé and pierced bracelets and necklaces from Sportmax.
