One of the more popular Apple audio products is taking on a festive theme. Apple launches a Lunar New Year edition for the powerful Airpods Pro 2

The latest Special Edition AirPods Pro (2nd generation) is engraved on the charging case with the 2024 Chinese zodiac totem, the Dragon, to signify the upcoming Lunar New Year. On its box, the same icon is featured in auspicious red.

This Year of the Dragon AirPods Pro 2 edition features twice the Active Noise Cancellation in comparison to the first-generation Airpods Pro, which is now powered by an upgraded H2 chip. This means that it removes twice as much unwanted noise. Alongside its Transparency mode (that reduces and adjusts noise intensity), there is now also the all-new Adaptive Audio mode (enables Transparency mode with Active Noise Cancellation) that promises to tailor the noise control to the environment you are in. While Conversation Awareness helps pick up voices in front when interacting with others and lowers the media volume automatically. The Touch control with the second-generation AirPods Pro allows you to play and stop music (or take and hang up on calls), and adjust the volume.

The AirPods Pro come with extended battery life and is dust, sweat and water resistant. The MagSafe Charging Case has a built-in speaker, lanyard loop and comes with its Precision Finding function. A single charge gives you a battery life of up to 6 hours, with the charging case on the other hand, it can go up to 30 hours of listening time.

Talking about an enhanced listening experience, if you are a fan of classical music, Apple recently launched the Apple Music Classical (available via the App Store) in Greater China, Japan and South Korea with an extensive library of classical music. It has a database consisting of 20,000 composers and their works. Coupled with newly developed algorithms to match all the information to over 5 million classical tracks, this is the world’s largest classical music catalogue.
