Lorem ipsum

In an era when many artists are introduced through virality, speed, and algorithms, seeing someone choose to slow down, to truly understand themselves before moving forward, has become increasingly rare. Yet JAOKHUN (Jakrapatr Vartanasingh)’s latest chapter reflects precisely that kind of growth: unhurried, intentional, and carefully layered, as he gradually places weight and meaning into what it means to be an artist.

The release of his single “Saenwiset (Gifted) Ft. BLVCKHEART” under his new home, Sony Music Thailand, is therefore not merely the start of a new professional phase. It is a declaration of transition, from a familiar image shaped in the public eye to an identity he is now consciously building for himself. This is not a “rebrand.”
It is growth.

A Song That Didn’t Begin With a Plan, But With a Feeling

Unlike many contemporary pop productions, Saenwiset (Gifted) did not originate from a defined brief or strategic direction. Instead, it began with a simple studio session between JAOKHUN and BLVCKHEART, an artist he had long admired.

“I reached out because I wanted to try working together. During one session, I just started playing guitar chords, and it felt like a magic moment that brought the song to life.”

That unassuming moment, free of expectation, became the foundation of the entire track. What began as a slow, minimal idea gradually gained rhythm, energy, and a playful brightness, evolving into the vibrant version heard today. It wasn’t about designing emotion.
It was about allowing emotion to design the song.

When “Gifted” Doesn’t Mean Talent, But Connection

Though the title might suggest ability or brilliance, JAOKHUN interprets Gifted through a more emotional lens. For him, the word represents a “gift”, someone special who enters one’s life and brings meaning to it.

At the same time, the song itself is a gift he intends to give back to listeners: a quiet expression of gratitude, conveyed not through speeches or statements, but through music.

This intention is why he immersed himself deeply in every stage of the creative process.

“I really devoted myself to every step of this song.”

From writing to shaping its sonic direction, JAOKHUN wanted the work to reflect who he truly is, not just something that sounds good, but something that feels like him.

Entering a New System, and Learning to Be an Artist Again

Working within Sony Music Thailand exposed him to an entirely different dimension of artistry: one structured by collaboration, detail, and professional rigor.

“Being in a larger organization taught me how many more steps there are, and how much more professionalism is involved.”

Rather than limiting his creativity, this structure strengthened it. It helped him realize that artistic expression can flourish within a solid framework, and that this might be the first time audiences truly see him as a fully realized artist.

“It makes people see me more as an artist than before.”

An Image That Changed, Not by Intention, But by Time

Earlier in his career, JAOKHUN was defined by youthful energy, spontaneity, and brightness. Today, a quieter, more refined, and subtly artistic presence has emerged.

He explains that starting in the industry at a young age meant those early years were filled with experimentation and trial and error.

“Back then I was still trying things out. Now I feel like I’m starting to understand my path more clearly.”

This is not a rejection of the past.
It is a continuation of it, shaped by time and experience.

Expectations Never Disappeared, He Simply Learned to Live With Them

Growing up in a family of artists naturally comes with pressure and public expectation. JAOKHUN does not deny feeling it.

“Yes, there’s pressure. But I see it as part of the journey to where I want to go.”

Rather than resisting it, he treats that weight as a lesson, one that every artist must encounter in their own way.

Life Now, Surprisingly, Is Very Simple

Despite appearances, his daily life revolves around one thing: music.

“Right now, 24/7, I’m working on music almost all the time.”

Moments of rest, like playing games, serve merely as small resets, balancing the intensity of creation with ordinary life.

Not Ready to Define Himself Too Soon

Even as his direction becomes clearer, JAOKHUN resists defining himself too narrowly. He remains open to acting, fashion, and new creative experiences that may further shape him.

“I want to try things, gain as much experience as possible. I’m still open to everything.”

This openness is not uncertainty.
It is a deliberate commitment to growth.

The Next Step: Bigger Stages, Stories Yet to Be Written

Looking ahead, he envisions touring, performing at festivals, and eventually creating a full album.

“My main goal is to perform on big stages, festivals, and make an album.”

Still, he chooses to move forward gradually, believing that aligning himself with this new chapter matters more than rushing toward an endpoint.

The Real Gift May Not Be the Song

It may be the moment an artist begins to understand who they are becoming.

Saenwiset (Gifted) is not simply JAOKHUN’s first single in a new home.
It marks the beginning of a new relationship, between JAOKHUN and music, between artist and audience, and between himself and the version of himself still unfolding.
