Just a few days shy of two weeks since the release of their first album, Blackpink’s first-ever documentary has officially made its way to our screens. Blackpink: Light Up the Sky premiered on Netflix yesterday (14 October) and has already impressed its fair share of both Blinks and non-Blinks.

For those who have longed for a better look into Blackpink’s Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, this is it. Director Caroline Suh takes viewers on the record-breaking K-pop group’s four-year journey, beginning with a scene of their official debut, sewn together with early footage of the girls during their trainee days (and prior to that too), intimate sit-down interviews, day-in-the-life clips and recording sessions, climaxing at their historic Coachella performance and finally coming to an end with a touching conversation about their lives in 20 years’ time.

Currently standing proud with a 98% Google users approval rate, Blackpink: Light Up the Sky isn’t one to miss. If you haven’t already, head to netflix.com to check it out.
