At Watches and Wonders 2023 in Geneva, Patek Philippe played it strong on home ground with 17 new watch offerings. Here are our picks of the lot.

Ref. 5531G World Time Minute Repeater

The picturesque dial depicts a steamboat that’s still active on Lake Geneva, with a blue-green leather strap that complement the scenery by evoking lake water. Even with its quaint Swiss aesthetic, it’s function is still internationally minded as it has 24-hour and day/night indication for various time zones. 

Grandmaster Chime Ref. 6300/403G

Jewellery meets matchmaking in this dazzling creation. Set with 118 baguette-cut emeralds (7.87 ct) and 291 baguette-cut diamonds (20.54 ct) in the “baguette” and “invisible” setting techniques, this timepiece is endowed with two dials in ebony-black opaline, with a hand-guilloched Clous de Paris or hobnail pattern on the time side. The alligator leather strap commits to the green theme with emerald-green hand stitching.

Ref. 4997/200R Calatrava

The Calatrava women’s wristwatch is slim with a 35mm case, but it is heavy on style with a royal purple dial and satin finish straps. The rose gold case with a diamond-set bezel makes a statement on luxury too.

Ref. 4962/200R Gondolo Serata

The brown lacquered dial with floral motifs in a mix of matte and shiny finishes is framed by a rose gold case set with spessartites arranged in a double color gradient. It is stylish and functional, as it houses a caliber E 15 quartz movement with an average battery life of three years.
