#legend_th: You’ve just turned 27. What birthday wish did you make for yourself this year? And as a child, did you ever imagine what life would be like at 27?
SC: Honestly, I never really pictured what I’d be doing at 27. I’ve always believed that time itself, along with our own choices and circumstances, shapes the way things unfold. So for me, turning 27 is about allowing destiny and balance to play their part. My wish was simply to be happy, to have a healthy body, and to keep both mind and spirit in balance, because I believe that’s the most important gift. I want to take my body and mind to places where they can encounter positivity, inspiration, joy, and fulfilment. And of course, I also wish the same for my mum and those around me, because I truly believe those are things we all need and deserve together.
#legend_th: You recently attended the Met Gala as a Valentino ambassador, one of only a few Asian representatives there. How did it feel, and what memories stand out most?
SC: There are so many that it’s hard to put into words. First of all, it was an incredible honour, a truly important milestone in my life. I was impressed by everything, from the setting, the music, the food, but most of all, the people. What really stood out was the atmosphere. Inside, there were no phones, no digital noise, no one distracted by chats or messages. It was just people exchanging kind words, small talk, laughter, and genuine joy in meeting one another at such a meaningful event. That created such positive energy that every single moment has stayed with me.
#legend_th: You’ve been offered a wide variety of projects lately. How do you personally decide which opportunities to take on?
SC: I see every project as meaningful and important. Each one is an opportunity that someone has entrusted me with, whether it’s from industry seniors or people who truly support me. I have a team that helps screen opportunities and make sure they align with what I can do best, and I trust them completely to choose what’s right. At the same time, clients and partners always want us to deliver our best too, so there’s a shared responsibility. For me, I want to do everything in a way that makes people happy, but without forgetting my own happiness along the way. Balancing joy in work and joy in life is what matters most to me.
#legend_th: You work almost every day, and there must be times when you feel vulnerable. How do you heal your heart?
SC: I try to give myself time to rest, to be with my family and my dogs. For me, being at home isn’t just sitting and doing nothing, I always have little light activities that keep me happy. For instance, I’ll pick up a book I bought long ago but never finished and read it slowly, a page at a time whenever I can. I also enjoy planting, gardening, baking, and doing little things together with my family and loved ones.
#legend_th: If you could have just one superpower to use only on your days off, what would it be?
SC: It connects to my previous answer. I’d want to spend more time with myself, my family, my loved ones, and my dogs. But if I really had a superpower, I’d use it for travelling. I’d love to be able to close my eyes and instantly arrive at any destination without the need for long journeys. If I could save all that time, I’d get to do so many other meaningful things, both for myself and for everyone around me.
