Sansiri unveils the special project "Artizen" as a significant force in empowering the Thai design industry

Art can indeed be considered a discipline that uplifts the human spirit, rendering the Creative Economy indispensable, particularly in lifestyle aspects. It also serves as a pivotal force driving a nation's economy. According to data from the Creative Economy Agency, Thailand's Creative Economy was valued at over 1.19 trillion baht before the onset of Covid-19, accounting for 7.58% of the country's GDP and generating over a million jobs. Even amidst the current circumstances, the Creative Economy retains substantial value, surpassing 1.1 trillion baht in 2021, post-Covid-19 pandemic.

With such huge figures and values, as leaders in real estate and design in Thailand, the brand utilises over 40 years of experience and expertise to support and propel the Thai design industry, including emerging artists. This is done to ignite the concept of "Design for Future," innovating new design patterns that revolve around three core principles, including Design for Aesthetic Living, design for a beautiful and quality lifestyle in every aspect, Design for Space Optimization, the design to Reflect lifestyles and providing spaces that cater to all aspects of life, and Design for Sustainability, design that  Embrace sustainable design that is practical, environmentally responsible, and adaptable to changing lifestyles in the future.

With a bold intention and determination to promote the significance of the design and creative industry, our brand has launched the flagship project of the year, titled "Artizen." This project embodies the fusion of two meaningful words, 'Art' and 'Citizen,' creating a space of opportunity that empowers emerging creators to unleash their ideas. Spanning four main branches, including Illustrator, Photographer, Music Composer, and Product Designer, the project offers winners a prize of 50,000 baht along with the opportunity to showcase their work at Bangkok Design Week 2025. Additionally, winners will have the chance to participate in international design exhibitions with Sansiri as well.

Those who successfully pass the selection process by the brand will have the opportunity to access invaluable knowledge that cannot be obtained from any classroom or course, with judges and mentors who are leading artists and designers from the four branches. For instance, Jeep Pasinee Kongdechakul for Illustrators, Toh Virunan Chiddaycha for Photographers, Tum Sathapat Teeranitayapap for Music Composers, and Dew Doonyapol Srichan for Product Designers. Additionally, Gain Vatanyu Tantivong, Head of Aesthetics & Design at Sansiri, will also be involved. The 40 participants selected (10 per branch) will participate in workshops organised by the project for 3 months.

This project not only serves as a vast opportunity for new-blood designers and the Thai creative and design circle but also reflects Sansiri's bold commitment to breaking the boundaries of creative thinking in all aspects.
