Paul Andrew Spring 2017

Neutral shades of leather, curved heels with wooden finishes, chain-strap stilettos dominated Paul Andrew’s Spring 2017 collection.

The collection, with minimal Scandinavian influences, sees Andrew take on new shapes and more daring styles: lace-up red sandals in red suede, sky-high stilettos with bold buckled silver chain straps, and wooden wedges with a basket weave.

Andrew also showcased his second season of men’s shoes, pared back classics with detailed, luxe finishes in browns and neutrals.

Well-known for his unique touch with women’s footwear, Andrew also welcomed his new appointment with Salvatore Ferragamo this weekend, where he has been hired as the label’s first design director of women’s footwear.

Andrew has previously worked at Calvin Klein and Alexander McQueen before establishing his shoe brand in 2013. He has since won the CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2014 and the CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Design this year.

Andrew’s debut collection for Salvatore Ferragamo will be for pre-fall 2017 next year.
