This month, #legend is #obsessed with the latest from Tiffany & Co., Montblanc, Chanel, Leica, Diptyque, and Chantel Shafie Jewellery
Locked in
An expression of love’s enduring protection, the Lock by Tiffany is one of the legendary jewellery house’s most definitive collections. Now, with the addition of 0.1 carats of hand-set rubies, the Lock by Tiffany pendant in 18K rose gold is also the perfect gift to celebrate Lunar New Year. Capturing the essence of the holiday and the pure delight and anticipation that defines the new year, the rubies’ striking red hue symbolises good fortune, prosperity and happiness. Another iconic collection, the Tiffany Knot is also perfect for new-year gifting with its intricately designed knot symbolising the powerful connections between loved ones.
To the point
There are countless ways to mark the Year of the Snake, including with a limited-edition writing instrument. To celebrate the auspicious occasion, Montblanc is introducing new additions to its “The Legend of Zodiacs” and “A Journey among Dragons” series. Highlights include The Snake Limited Edition 512, made of partly blackened and polished Ag 925 sterling silver, and decorated with the figure of a snake masterfully twisting its body around a bamboo shoot, with its head angled towards the sky; and The Winged Dragon Limited Edition 88, featuring a full-length dragon with its fierce gaze enhanced with green sapphires for eyes.
Red alert
Coco Chanel is well known for her love of black, white and beige, but the iconic designer also had a soft spot for scarlet. “Red is the colour of life,” she has said, “I love red.” It was her belief that a touch of red was enough to enhance everything that inspired Chanel’s latest interpretations for its Coco Crush jewellery collection. For the first time ever, rubies take centre stage in a set of new designs. Embodying the essence of strength, love and passion, a flamboyant ruby is set in the hollow of a C-shaped necklace pendant and glimmering at the centre of an “O” on a bracelet – which can also be paired with one with “C” to spell “COCO”.
Century club
First presented to the public at the Leipzig Spring Fair in 1925, the Leica I was the first mass-produced Leica 35 mm camera. Compact and handy, it revolutionised the world of photography by making it a natural part of everyday life and set Leica Camera AG on a course of shaping the future of photographic innovation. To celebrate the 100th anniversary, the company is staging a year-long series of international events, exhibitions and cultural programmes under the motto “100 Years of Leica: Witness to a Century” as well as releasing a number of special-edition products that pay tribute to the groundbreaking invention.
Good scents
A new year calls for new scents and, of course, red packets. Diptyque is offering customers the best of both with a range of its iconic offerings presented in striking red and gold (making them perfect for giving and receiving) as well as a series of specially designed red packets available with purchases of HK$800 or more. Those who are planning to host loved ones at home for the holiday can bring even more luxury to the occasion with La Droguerie, the maison’s range of exquisite household cleaning products featuring a rich aroma of fig trees and orange blossom, accompanied by bouquets of basil or polished wood.
Golden year
Hong Kong-based fine jewellery designer Chantel Shafie got her start creating bespoke heirloom pieces for private clients before launching her own brand with The Eternal Dragon Collection inspired by Chinese mythology and traditional motifs. Now, to celebrate the Year of the Snake, Chantel Shafie Jewellery presents a stunning diamond-encrusted Medallion Necklace featuring a 24K solid gold Hong Kong coin with a snake curled into a lucky number eight. Perfect for commemorating significant moments, the necklace is adorned with the year 2025 as well the iconic Hong Kong skyline and the bauhinia, the city’s floral emblem.
