Victoria Dockside: The new landmark of Hong Kong

An overview of Victoria Dockside

New World Development has just unveiled the new landmark of Hong Kong: Victoria Dockside. Located at Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, the 3 million square feet art and design district will be right next to some of the most famous cultural institutions, such as the Space Museum and the Museum of Art. Victoria Dockside will offer Grade A office space and the highly-anticipated luxury Rosewood Hotel Hong Kong and Rosewood Residences.

The area dates back to 1920 and was known as Holt’s Wharf, a godown terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui, which helped to establish Hong Kong’s reputation as the gateway to the Far East and one of the busiest international ports.

The project was created by well-known architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), landscape architect James Corner Field Operations in collaboration with Adrian Cheng and over 100 designers and consultants from around the world.

‘We are committed to pushing new frontiers with Victoria Dockside” said Adrian Cheng, K11 Founder, Executive Vice-Chairman and General Manager of New World Development. The project aims to provide the best art, design and leisure experiences against the iconic backdrop of the Victoria Harbour waterfront, which will provide an open space for locals and international visitors to explore and unwind amidst the fast pace of Hong Kong.

Victoria Dockside is set to fully open in 2019.
