#legend announced the winners of the inaugural 2023 #legend Beauty Awards last week, celebrating the best in beauty across Skincare, Make-Up, Bodycare, Scents, Gadgets and Spa categories, at Victoria 22, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

The award ceremony presented by Elva Ni (#legend100 influencer and beauty awards judge) and Zaneta Cheng (editor-in-chief) was followed by a #legendChats panel discussion with Elva Ni and Hong Kong Olympic fencer Moonie Chu on the latest beauty trends. Ni served as a judge of this year’s #legend Beauty Awards alongside another #legend100 member, actress Fish Liew.

Together with the #legend editorial team, they tested and submitted winners across 42 different categories to help readers narrow down the absolute best in beauty. 

The event was hosted at Victoria 22 in Causeway Bay – an events venue located near Windsor House with views of the surrounding grounds and Victoria Harbour. Sponsors at the event include cocktail company, Apollo 11, and gourmet sweets provider, Candy Kitten.

The awards include a selection of the best-in-categories comprising of Best Eye Product (Guerlain Abeille Royale Double R Renew & Repair Eye Serum), Best Women’s Fragrance (Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet), Best Serum (Fresh Tea Elixir Skin Resilience Activating Serum), Best Night Cream (Helena Rubinstein Replasty Age Recovery Night Cream), Best Beauty Device (Medicube Age-R Derma EMS Shot), Best Lotion/Essence (Tatcha The Essence) and Best Body Lotion (Tatcha Forest Awakening Hinoki Body Milk). 

“For our first beauty awards, it was important to us that we invited respected and influential members of the #legend community to sit on our judging panel and I couldn’t think of anyone better suited than Hong Kong’s favourite influencer Elva Ni and winner of Best Supporting Actress at the 40th Hong Kong Film Awards Fish Liew,” says Zaneta Cheng, #legend’s editor-in-chief. “Both are beautiful and look to the best in beauty to support their camera-facing careers.
