Every year since 2002, Chanel celebrates its Métiers d’art collections to honour the exceptional savoir-faire and craftsmanship at the heart of the house. After making its grand debut last December inside New York’s historic Bowery Station subway stop, the Chanel 2026 Métiers d’art collection has officially traveled to Seoul, opening an exciting new chapter at the stunning Centre Pompidou Hanwha

This collection, created under the vision of Matthieu Blazy for Chanel, takes inspiration from “sub(way)-culture”. It explores the intersection of everyday city life and couture-level craftsmanship and moving the show from a gritty New York subway station to Seoul’s modern.

The celebrity guest list was unmatched, Hollywood royalty Tilda Swinton, K-pop legend G-Dragon and “Human Chanel” Jennie were spotted catching up front row. They were joined by South Korean screen favorites Park Seo Joon, Go Youn Jung, Kim Go Eun, Lee Soo Hyuk, and more. Alongside Hong Kong actress Hedwig Tam, who flew in for the special event.

The night also marked an exciting fashion milestone for the next-generation boy group Cortis. Members Martin and Keonho made their highly anticipated Chanel debut, turning heads in cool, street-style looks from the house.

After dazzling the audience at the main event with a breathtaking vintage-inspired ensemble that fused classic French elegance and contemporary edge, Jennie took command of the Chanel after-party. She treated guests to a powerful rendition of her hit “Like Jennie”, before leaving everyone speechless with the surprise premiere of a brand-new, unreleased track.
