Lisa has stepped beyond the framework of a girl group, gradually building a silhouette that is distinctly her own. We take a look at the evolution of her style

Lisa’s image during the Blackpink era became almost emblematic of its time. A blend of sweetness and sharpness, paired with her signature blunt, heavy fringe, gave her an instantly recognisable presence on stage. Bold, energetic, and highly impactful, this look earned her the title of “real-life Barbie” and made her a fashion reference point for countless fans.

The transition did not happen overnight. She first began with her hair, shifting from long, straight styles to mid-length cuts. While retaining a soft outline, this change toned down the overt girlishness. During this phase, Lisa started to project a more mature aura, with her overall lines becoming cleaner and more defined.

The real turning point came the moment she swept her fringe aside. When a centre part replaced the blunt bangs, her facial proportions were re-emphasised, her features appeared more sculpted, and her presence transformed accordingly. This marked a move towards a more self-directed approach to style, with the centre-parted hairstyle becoming a recurring signature in her later looks.

As her creative freedom in music and visuals expanded, Lisa began exploring a more avant-garde, “unconventionally beautiful” direction. Her collaboration with surreal nail artist Juan Alvear turned nails into more than mere accessories. Yet, they became extensions of the overall look. Her wardrobe, crafted by Asher Levine, embraced experimental materials, cuts and structures, pushing her visual language further.

After founding her own company, Lloud, this direction became even clearer. Whether on stage or off duty, Lisa now leans strongly towards a Western aesthetic: body-conscious tailoring, high-shine fabrics, and a direct, confident sensuality. Within the same period, she can effortlessly shift between relaxed cuteness and commanding high fashion without contradiction, revealing, instead, the true versatility of her personal style.
