Bold, bright and joyfully iconic – red is the colour of the season. Below, a highly elevated edit of red buys worth seeing, ranging from fashion and beauty to home

Chanel N°1 de Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm Red Camellia

Winter weather means drier conditions, so I like to swap out my powder blushes for cream and liquid formulas to maintain a complexion that looks and feels hydrated. Enriched with red camellia oil, this multi-use lip and cheek balm melts right into the skin for a natural, dewy flush that looks like a glow from within.

Alaïa Suede Vienne Ballet Flats

Equal parts stylish and practical, these Alaïa ballet flats are coming home with me this season. We truly are still living in the ballet flat era, and these are the perfect finisher to any look – be that jeans, a skirt or a maxi dress.

JSM Beauty Lip-Pression Metal Serum Gloss

I’ll always be partial to a good lip gloss. And this new JSM Beauty one checks all the boxes: a healthy dose of pigment, lots of hydration thanks to an innovative 93% serum-infused formula, and a juicy, high shine finish delivered through a patented cooling metal tip. I particularly love the shade Boba Noir – a deep, wine red.

Lisa Yang Nellia Cashmere Cardigan

I’m typically a very neutral dresser, but what’s the festive season without a little colour? I’ll be keeping this one draped across my shoulders for just a pop of colour until I’m ready to commit to a full-blown fit.

Bottega Veneta Campana Bag

For fall/winter 2025, Bottega Veneta relaunched one of it’s heritage bags – the Campana. This sweet everyday style arrives in smooth leather and Intrecciato editions. I like the latter variation for its tactile quality that distinguishes the design from other leather goods. It currently comes in small, medium and large sizes, and a variety of chic shades, including this dark barolo.

Jo Malone London Scarlet Poppy Cologne Intense

I bought one of Jo Malone’s Golden Barley candles and loved it so much I burned through it in a week. Part of the brand’s Cologne Intense collection, Scarlet Poppy hits similar warm, delectable notes – like tea with milk and vanilla. I can wear it all day and the bottle will surely last longer than a week – win, win.

CurrentBody Skin Multi-Light Therapy Mask

The CurrentBody Skin LED Multi-Light Therapy Mask is truly one of the best LED face masks of its time. This multi-functional skincare device features six clinically proven LED wavelengths (red, near-infrared, deep near-infrared, blue, yellow and green) and five targeted treatment modes designed to address a wide range of skin concerns – from breakouts to fine lines, dullness to pigmentation. I mainly use the red light, which helps to reduce inflammation, pigmentation and redness, as well as help prompt cellular repair and circulation for a visibly refreshed, more radiant complexion.

Addison Ross Medium Bobbin Candlestick Cherry

Addison Ross from Lane Crawford

We’re treading through the darkest time of the year, making warm lighting and ambient candles a must-have in every home. After all, few things help set a cosy mood on dark evenings quite like a soft flicker of a candle. But candles don’t just create that inviting, cushy ambience – the vessels that cradle them can also double as eye-catching objets d’art. This lacquered bobbin-shaped candlestick from Addison Ross is crafted from sustainably-sourced rubberwood and finished with eight coats of high gloss lacquer, each layer hand polished for a flawless sheen.
