Valextra, the Milanese purveyor of luxury leather goods, softens its signature structured aesthetic. The autumn/winter 2025 collection, titled "A Study of Softness," introduces new materials and collaborations.

Senso suede and Sublime leather debut alongside Valextra’s established structured leathers. The collection balances structure and tactility. The Milano handbag, a recent icon, appears in Senso suede. Chocolate brown, black and nude are the available colours. The bag is free of internal pockets, prioritising fluidity.

The MyLogo Bowling Bag arrives in mini and micro dimensions, along with the Mochi handbag. These bags come in chocolate brown, black and cashmere.

The ViVi family on the other hand expands with the ViVi Shopping Bag, made from Millepunte soft leather and comes in Pergamena White, Niagara Blue, Sahara brown and Valextra black forming a versatile colour palette in this range.

In an exciting turn, Valextra collaborates with Mariantonia Urru, Sardinian artisans, on the Milano Pibiones capsule collection, showcasing traditional techniques that originated from this Italian island.

The Iside bag, an icon of urban elegance, is reimagined with mirrored sequins. Chanakya, an Indian family enterprise, hand-embroidered these.

The process takes seven days, requiring around 715 individual sequins.

A testament that no effort is too much or too strenuous. Since the brand was founded in 1937, Valextra has held to its inspiring muse which is the city of Milan. It continues to feature black lacquered Costa edging and Millepunte leather as its signatures.

This collection marks a subtle, but significant, shift for Valextra. It is after all a story of evolution, not revolution.
