L’Oréal Paris has just launched their makeup line with Camila Cabello and we have to say, we’re loving the look of the Cuban-inspired collection. The 21 year old pop star, who joined L’Oréal as a face in 2017, is the brand’s first global spokeswomen to collaborate on products. Since leaving girl group Fifth Harmony, Cabello has really come into her own with several number ones on the Billboard 200, including singles Havana and Never Be The Same.
Now, she’s venturing into the world of beauty. The 14-piece collection, retailing for $120 HKD and under, includes eye shadows, lip glosses, brow products and L’Oréal’s first ever liquid bronzer.
The eye shadows come in four shades: Control (a deep rose plum), Hot Havana (a mossy green), In Love (a champagne pink) and Oh-Na-Na (a classic pinky rose colour). The collection also includes four ultra-glossy ‘lip dews’ in the shades Serendipity (a coral pink), Lit Up (a shimmery deep rose), Destiudo (a deep nude) and lastly a bright glossy pink.
L’Oréal’s first ever liquid bronzer is a creamy formula that comes in the shades Light/Medium and Medium/Deep. The best part? You can mix it with foundation, or use it as contour for the ultimate summer glow. There’s also The Gotta Give Brow in buildable shades of Light and Medium.
Out of the entire collection, Cabello is most fond of the Flash Liner, in an interview, she says “To me, liner is really important. It’s this very beautiful, black liquid liner. And it stays on for a long time—I hate when eyeliner just sort of droops off. The way that the pen is shaped, it’s a very thin, precise line.”
