Suite dreams: Hong Kong’s best staycations and luxury hotel suites

It could be a little while before we can travel again, so why not take advantage of the many Hong Kong staycation packages popping up around town? Plus, with all that money you’ll be saving on airfare, we’ve rounded up some of Hong Kong’s most extravagant hotel suites to splash out on.
For a sexy getaway: The Upper House
Luxurious interiors, fabulous amenities, and floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of the harbour make The Upper House a firm favourite for couples seeking a sexy getaway.
Splash-out suite: The 1,960-square-feet penthouses boast luxurious furnishings across two bedrooms and a living room, with a stylish bathroom complete with harbour-facing views.
Special packages: Available until 6 September 2020, the hotel’s 24-hour staycation package (HK$2,880 per night for Studio 70, HK$6,000 per night for Upper Suite) gets you breakfast for two, plus a complimentary round of drinks at the hotel’s modern European restaurant, Café Gray Deluxe; access to movies in your room along with unlimited popcorn; as well as group wellness classes on weekends. We love W Hong Kong’s for its laid-back, sexy vibe – and gorgeous backdrop at its sky-high pool.
Best suite: The 2,160-square-feet “Extreme Wow” suite – the only one of its kind and located at the top of the hotel – comes complete with a two-storey ceiling, living and dining areas, a plush king bed and two bathrooms. And of course, the palatial quarters also boast the panoramic harbour views the hotel is famous for.

Urbanites seeking an escape, look no further than Hyatt Regency Sha Tin. Surrounded by the Kau To Shan hills and with views of the Tolo Harbour, this hotel offers a great resort-like atmosphere.

Whether you’re after a home-away-from-home experience in a luxury suite or celebrating special occasions with loved ones, Kerry Hotel is your pick.
