This year, we wanted to celebrate Christmas by capturing heartwarming moments between humans and their furry friends. Four of our #Legend100 influencers Elly Lam, Emi Wong, Irisa Wong, and Jenn Lam brought their puppies along with them to The Murray hotel for an afternoon shoot full of cuddles and wet kisses. In order to do our part to support animal welfare in Hong Kong, we have donated 20% of profits from this project to SPCA*. 

*The SPCA (The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is a charity established to promote kindness and to confront and prevent cruelty to animals in Hong Kong. The charity advances its mission through a variety of local initiatives, including rescuing and finding new homes for abandoned and sick animals, working with the government to enforce animal welfare laws and educating the public about pet ownership.

Do you have any family Christmas traditions?

 We always bring Ballball to an outdoor restaurant so we can eat and celebrate Christmas together because Ballball is part of the family!

What is one thing you really want to try doing with Ballball next year?

We really hope to bring her with us on a short vacation! We are trying to figure out what flights in Asia allow dogs in the cabin – otherwise, we will do a staycation at one of the outlying islands in Hong Kong!

Do you have any family Christmas traditions?

Nothing too fancy. But our family loves Christmas so it’s important for us to be together every year no matter what country we’re in, to celebrate together.

What is one thing you really want to try doing with Johnston next year?

I really want to travel with him, but it’s difficult because of his breed. Not many airlines allow breeds with short noses on their flights, so going to have to fly private 😅.

Do you have any family Christmas traditions?

We always watch Christmas movies together. A Christmas movie marathon of Love Actually, The Holiday, The Elf & of course – my childhood favorite, Home Alone. Along with a batch of my homemade Christmas cookies & hot chocolate.

What is one thing you really want to try doing with your dogs next year?

Perhaps a staycation with all 5 of my dogs (at the Murray) and enjoy a session of puppy yoga together!

Jenn Lam with Melu

Do you have any family Christmas traditions?

 We eat turkey for Christmas every year, but with a bunch of Chinese dishes 😂.

What is one thing you really want to try doing with Melu next year?

I want to teach him tricks and train him well 😌.
