Willow Smith, the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, embodies “The Onitsuka Tiger Attitude” for the Japanese fashion brand’s latest Spring/Summer 2021 campaign. Styled by Andrea Pompilio, creative director of Onitsuka Tiger, Willow – who was appointed the brand’s global ambassador in 2020 – is seen modeling the new collection in ultra-flexi poses inspired by her yoga practice.
“To me, yoga is a practice which brings me closer to myself so that I can still my mind enough to build my relationship with The Divine,” said Willow. “I’m grateful that I could show these beautiful, unique garments in a way that’s so fulfilling for me!”
The new Onitsuka collection features black and yellow flowy pieces with the Onitsuka Tiger expressed via the logo, but also with details inspired by sailing sails.
According to the Onitsuka team, “This campaign gives us hope that there are no limits to the diversity of fashion, and that everyone can truly enjoy fashion in their own unique way, whether on the go or at home, regardless of location, age, or gender.”
