Soho House Hong Kong marks its sixth anniversary with a three-day celebration event. Aimee Yan looks at what’s in store

With the city cloaked in days of rain, there’s no better time to retreat indoors for something both spirited and inspiring. To mark its sixth year, Soho House Hong Kong is hosting a three-day celebration from September 19 to 21. More than a series of events, it is a curated journey through food, music, talks, and parties, a testament to Soho House’s mission of nurturing creativity and community while opening its doors to members and the public alike.

September 19 (Friday)

The weekend festivities kick off with a large member mixer in collaboration with A80 Paris, where members can enjoy complimentary blow dries to start the celebrations in style.

As the evening progresses, the focus shifts to the table. Pastry chef and model Amanda Strang joins private chef Marissa Lau for Flakes & Layers, a five-course dinner staged poolside. The setting transforms into a multisensory dining experience where taste, sight, and ambience intertwine.

Later, DJ Rocky Lee takes over the Yellow and Blue Rooms, turning them into a dance floor with club-grade sound, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

September 20 (Saturday)

One of the highlights of the anniversary is the Hong Kong debut of Soho Connects Asia. This forum gathers leading voices in architecture, art, design, and technology to explore urgent questions shaping the region’s creative industries, from urban futures to the role of AI in design, underscoring Soho House’s place as a platform for cross-cultural exchange.

As day turns to night, the mood pivots to revelry. In collaboration with House Of Orient, Dim Sum Drink Sum reimagines Cantonese classics through thoughtful wine pairings, giving you the taste of heritage and modern combining. The evening builds with a live set by Paris-based producer Onra, blending electronic funk with East Asian influences, before Yeti Out closes the night with a genre-spanning takeover that pushes Saturday into full crescendo.

September 21 (Sunday)

Sunday slows the tempo, though not the richness. The Poolside Seafood Feast pairs seaside flavours with music, as Yardbird and Always Joy chef Matt Abergel and Soho House executive chef Krzysztof Czerwinski present a collaborative menu against the backdrop of live DJ sets. Later, the Soho House Pioneer Programme culminates in its final showcase, spotlighting 14 emerging talents who present short films, recipes, and installations, a collective expression of Hong Kong’s creative next wave.
