Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show – Season 2

Family-friendly comedy series Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show is going to have its sequel on October 7. Actor and comedian, Jack McBrayer, reprises his portrayal of Jack in the series, expecting to bring tons of laughter to families and kids.        

Extending the storyline from last year, the caring Jack will continue to greet residents with kindness and humour and inspire everyone with compassion, creativity, and imagination. He will also show children concrete ways to express emotions and make friendships in real-life situations.

Shantaram

Set to release on October 14, the Shantaram series is widely anticipated as the show is based on Gregory David Roberts’ internationally best-selling novel. Exploring the life of a heroin-addicted fugitive, the main protagonist, Lin Ford, escaped to 1980s Bombay, hoping to avoid further criminal chaos until he met Karla. This Swiss-American woman makes him struggle between love and freedom.

King Arthur star, Charlie Hunnam, returns as Lin Ford in the series, along with Antonia Desplat as Karla Saaranen. Other cast members include Elektra Kilbey, Alexander Siddig and David Field.

Ghostwriter – Season 3

As a reboot of the 1990s’ popular children’s show, Ghostwriter is set to have its third season premiering on October 21. The series is very family-friendly with a plot that explores ghost-releasing fictional characters from a bookstore and a group of children having to solve the mysteries behind them.

Well-received by the public, previous seasons of Ghostwriter once won the Emmy Awards for Outstanding Children’s or Family Viewing Programme, garnering several other Daytime nominations. The new season will feature an entirely new cast.

Acapulco – Season 2

Global hit bilingual comedy series Acapulco returns with its second season on October 21. Picking up right on the heels of season one, Máximo Gallardo must contend with unexpected new troubles at the resort and home, and deal with a new love interest who rivals that one girl of his dreams.

Enrique Arrizon is set to return as Máximo Gallardo, while Eugenio Derbez narrates as the Older Máximo. Other cast members include Fernando Carsa, Camilia Perez, Chord Overstreet and Vanessa Bauche.

The Sound of 007

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise, The Sound of 007 will go behind the lens of one of the greatest movie franchises ever made. It reveals the seven-decade history of Bond music. From the genesis of Dr No and the iconic 007 theme song to No Time To Die, mixing in interviews with directors, lyricists, and composers of previous film music.

The documentary is set to release in October, while director Mat Whitecross, lyricist Don Black and composer David Arnold are expected to appear in Q&A sessions of the film.
