For designer Tom Ford, it’s always been either go big or go home. This New York Fashion Week, his runway show marries show business and television; not only will there be live performances and a star-studded soiree, but the entire event will also be showcased online via live-streaming.
The show at the Four Seasons in New York begins with cocktails and a dinner reception followed by a performance by Leon Bridges before his models walk down the catwalk dressed in Ford’s autumn/winter 2016 creations.
Ford, along with designers like Christopher Bailey at Burberry, are the pioneers of the “see now, buy now” trend, and will be one of the first luxury names to show an in-season collection that is immediately available for hungry customers.
