Mercedes me, the lifestyle extension of Mercedes-Benz, has launched a new breakfast menu, adding to their burgeoning dining options on offer for guests. The restaurant, a bar and dining room hidden behind the Mercedes car lounge, opened late last year and was recently named by CNN as one of Hong Kong’s best new restaurants for 2016.

The breakfast menu offers both an interactive dining experience or a more traditional sit-down setup, conceived by the culinary team of Malcolm Wood and Chef Edgar Sanuy. Besides the breakfast staples off fruits, salads, cheeses and pastries, the true stars of the show are the mains that guests can customise to their liking, including slow-cooked or scrambled eggs accompanied with one’s choice of smoked pancetta, manchego cheese, avocado, smoked salmon, sobrassada, sautéed spinach or smoked scarmorza. If guests prefer a more indulgent breakfast, Mercedes me will also be serving up an organic smoked salmon or sobrassada and mozzarella toasted bikini sandwich, 48-month old Iberico Pork, and an artisanal cheese platter of Pecorino, Gorgonzola, Robiola and smoked Scamorza. Located in hectic Central, Mercedes me’s new breakfast menu opens up a convenient location for early morning meetings or quick catch up with friends before heading to the office. The breakfast menu will be available on weekdays from 9 – 11am.
