Karl Lagerfeld has tapped into the next generation of Chanel shoppers for spring/summer 2017, unveiling a collection at the Grand Palais that is youthful, fun and futuristic. The show opened with two robots in lacquered helmets and boots, dressed in a tweed skirt suit, followed by models in multi-coloured tweed suits over silky shirt dresses and billowing gowns in a neon rainbow colours. Funky accessories are aplenty, from single ear cuffs to handbags and clutches installed with LED lights.
