Cecilia Yeung is a prominent Hong Kong high jumper who made headlines in April 2017 by setting a new women’s national record of 1.88 metres at the Asia Grand Prix in Taiwan. That same year, she won silver at the Asian Championships, cementing her status as one of the region’s top athletes. Her impressive list of achievements also includes bronze at the 2017 Asian Indoor Games, World Universiade 2017 finalist, 5th place at the 2017 All China Games, 5th at the 2018 Asian Games and 5th at the 2019 Asian Athletics Championships. Beyond the track, Yeung has made a mark in the fashion industry as the face of campaigns for brands such as Nike and Estée Lauder, and has been featured in numerous magazines. While she enjoys the modelling opportunities and increased visibility, her primary focus remains on earning recognition for her athletic accomplishments. Her inspiring journey earned her a speaking slot at TEDxHSUHK in 2021. Following an injury two years ago, Yeung dedicated herself to recovery while staying active. She founded Aim Higher Club, a fashion brand centred on community and well-being. Known for consistently setting ambitious goals, Yeung continues to embody dedication and resilience as a professional high jumper.
