Louise Wong was only 16 years old when she won the Asia Pacific Elite Model Look, the first and only Hong Konger to do so to date. She gained overnight fame after her lead performance in the box office hit Anita where she played the late Cantopop diva Anita Mui. Wong was one of the celebrities called on to make a hidden comedic cameo in the movie Table for Six, which became the third highest-grossing movie produced in Hong Kong. Her hard work and determination have earned her the Best New Performer Award at the 40th Hong Kong Film Awards. Despite her glamorous life now, her childhood was not as privileged. She worked part-time at the age of 14 to support her family and finance her interest in fashion design by paying for her tuition fees herself. Now, Wong has a beautiful daughter and is married to singer-songwriter and actor Sheldon Lo.
