In celebration of the Cancer Fund’s 35th Anniversary, an enchanting evening was held with some of Hong Kong’s most prolific celebrities and guests bringing out their best “rock baroque” looks

Over 350 attendees came together to raise funds for professional services to help anyone affected by cancer at the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s “Party for a Purpose”.

The stylish get-together was themed “rock baroque”, think Freddie Mercury meets Marie Antoinette. The guest list included Sally Lo, Andrew Yuen, Cindy Yeung, Sean Eav, Felix and Jennifer Chow, Fanny Sieh, Gin Lee, Keung Ho Man, Dada Chan, Virginia Lok, Nicola Cheung Young, Lilian Ho, Kenneth Lai and more.

The event took place at Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, complete with dazzling performances, extravagant decor and outfits. Attendants dressed in pink renaissance costumes and period wigs were glammed to the nines with stage makeup, as they welcomed guests to one of Hong Kong’s biggest social events.

One of the major sponsors of the evening was Emperor Jewellery, who arranged a walk-through show with models wearing and presenting its exquisite pieces at the event. 

#legend was the exclusive media partner and received the company of distinguished #legend100 guests such as digital cover stars Gareth T, Kiri T, and Bruce Tong, in addition to Hong Kong celebrities and influencers Moon Tang, Julia Chow, Adam Pak, Jessie Li and Anita Chui.

The programme also included a raffle and auction by Macey & Sons, with auction items including a luxury Chopard watch, a famous Frog King painting, a Scottish Single Malt scotch whiskey cask from Kirkcowan (Bladnoch) Distillery, a Louis Vuitton handbag, Kam Chi Keung’s Apple birdcage art piece, a contemporary silver bowl donated by Altfield Gallery, and much more.

Hong Kong Cancer Fund is the city’s largest cancer support organisation established in 1987.
