He just played his first lead role on the big screen
How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies is the first movie in which Billkin played a lead role. He first rose to fame on shows like My Ambulance and most notably the Thai Boys Love series I Told Sunset About You and I Promised You the Moon with PP Krit. The 24-year-old is now solidifying himself as a bonafide movie star with his latest role in How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies. This time, he plays a college dropout scheming to win the inheritance of his grandma’s wealth but ends up establishing real bonds. Apparently this is also quite a tearjerker so get your tissues ready.
He is the newest brand ambassador for Gucci
Billkin’s excellence in both music and acting has drawn attention from the fashion world. He recently became the latest brand ambassador for Gucci. He will be working closely with the house along with two other Thai celebrities, Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong and Davika Hoorne.
He was almost named after a Disney character
With elder siblings named Mickey and Winnie, Billkin was close to getting the nickname Eeyore, the donkey from Winnie-the-Pooh. But fortunately his father ended changing his nickname to Bill instead. It was changed to Billkin when his four-year-old brother discovered this cuter version to call him by and it has stuck. Thank goodness because a name like Eeyore doesn’t exactly exude star power or scream heart throb.
He studied business administration in college
Though he is now known as a singer and actor, Billkin actually studied business administration in college. He was born into a well-off family with a business in the bronze manufacturing and vehicle industries. Even though he graduated from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy at Thammasat University in 2023, Billkin chose to stick with entertainment instead of following the family path.
He is a Manchester United fan
Billkin has shown his love for Manchester United Football Club on his Instagram. It’s evident as he captioned a post with “childhood dream fulfilled” when he visited Old Trafford, the home stadium of the Manchester United football club. Soccer is Billkin’s favourite sport and he joined the Monday Knights Football Club together with prominent Thai figures such as Oab, Bright, and Nanon.
