Tiffany & Co.’s Bird on a Rock has been an icon for generations. Now, it takes flight in the imagination of a new generation through a revamped collection

First created in 1965 by designer legendary Jean Schlumberger, the whimsical bird perched on a gleaming gemstone has become a symbol of joy, freedom, and timeless elegance. Now, the house unveils the next chapter — the new Bird on a Rock collection. This exquisite line blends fine jewellery with exceptional high jewellery, combining wearability and collectability.

Schlumberger’s inspiration originally from a vibrant yellow-crested cockatoo he encountered in his travels across Asia and the Caribbean. This new collection takes flight once again by capturing the grace and dynamism of plumage in precious metals, radiant diamonds, and gemstones like tanzanite and turquoise to celebrate nature’s individuality and the optimism of love.
Everyday elegance
At the heart of the collection lies fine jewellery designed to be worn and loved every day. Here, Tiffany transforms its iconic bird into sculptural pieces of understated glamour: hand-set diamonds shimmering like morning dew, feather-like textures alive with movement, and silhouettes that feel as fluid as they are luxurious.

The standout Wings Convertible Earrings offer four distinct looks, from dramatic cascades to refined studs. There are also scalloped diamond edges that create a captivating play of light.

Other fine jewellery designs spotlight the bird with delicate diamond wings, each piece whimsical yet sophisticated. Whether paired with a tailored blazer, an elegant evening dress, or even a weekend look, these jewels embody the art of everyday luxury.
The exquisite masterpieces
The high jewellery suites take Schlumberger’s creation to new heights.

Tanzanite is introduced by Tiffany in 1968, and has become a Tiffany signature since then. In the new Bird on a Rock high jewellery collection, we pair blue-violet Tanzanite with diamonds, evoking the beauty of twilight skies. Ideal with a sleek floor-length gown, it’s the definition of red-carpet radiance.

The Turquoise Suite is a dramatic statement with a diamond-encrusted bird holding strands of cabochon turquoise. Best styled with monochrome tailoring or soft, neutral silks, this suite is for those who command attention effortlessly.
From the versatility of fine jewellery to the spectacle of high jewellery, the new Bird on a Rock collection captures Tiffany & Co.’s enduring artistry. Launching globally on September 2, 2025, these are not just adornments. They are heirlooms that carry the spirit of joy and possibility into a new era.
