Kaylin Hsieh @kaylinhsieh

“Some of my all-time favourite spots in Hong Kong include the West Kowloon Art Park, Tai Mei Tuk and Tsz Shan Monastery. Especially when the weather is good, I visit for the beautiful views and fresh air. October is also an exciting month – you can expect more YouTube videos and content from me about my college life and preparing for the new fencing season. Stay tuned!”

“There’s a lot happening on the food and drinks front – Hong Kong Cuisine 1983 has launched a new vegetarian menu, and The Aubrey at the Mandarin Oriental, which is ranked 10th on Asia’s 50 Best Bars, just came out with their new Kaizen cocktail menu and a special sake. I’ll also be finding time to check out M+ for its special preview of the first major exhibition in East Asia of China’s preeminent couture artist Guo Pei.”

“This month I’m looking forward to checking out the I. M. Pei exhibition at M+, which offers an expanded and closer look at the practice of one of the greatest architects of the 20th and 21st centuries. I’ll also be hosting a talk on weight-gain issues, underlying causes and management at The Upper House on October 17 at 7pm.”
