Designer Phillip Lim cites the Victorian era and the Fifties as his inspiration, bringing playful austerity – think ruffles and zipper details – to his Spring 2017 collection. Lim played out the two juxtaposing inspirations in full, with ruffle dresses and floral prints contrasting with body-con scuba dresses and black leather bras.
