What: Cartier’s Résonances de Cartier Gala

Cartier launched their newest collection, the Résonances de Cartier at a private location hidden away in New York City’s Governors Island. An array of dazzling VIP guests, including Alexandra Richards, Anh Duong, Arthur Elgort, Bianca Brandolini, Carey Mulligan, Carlotta Kohl, Carolyn Murphy, Casey Neistat, Celerie Kemble, Charlotte Groeneveld, Charlotte Kidd, Derek Blasberg, Diane Kruger, Eugenie Niarchos, Fernando Garcia & Laura Kim, Gucci Westman & David Neville, Hannah Bronfman, Jason Wu, Jessica Hart, Harry & Jill Kargman, Martha Stewart, Mazdack & Zanna Roberts Rassi, Nicky Rothschild, Pat Cleveland, Sofia Boutella, Sofia Coppola, Zoe Buckman, Nicole Warne and #legend’s own Creative Director, Gordon Lam, were transported the surprise location, which had been created and designed exclusively for the event. With New York City as their backdrop, the guests were able to explore Cartier’s new jewels, before enjoying a a menu by Dan Barber, and performances by Andra Day, Jon Batiste and Grandmaster Flash. The gala was a precursor to the house’s soon-to-open The Cartier Haute Joaillerie Exhibition at its Fifth Avenue flagship in New York City. The largest ever collection of Cartier high jewellery on display in the United States, it will be open to the public from 21-29 October.
