The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok has officially opened, marking a significant addition to the city's luxury hotel scene. This new establishment features 260 rooms and is situated in a striking 216-metre tower on Wireless Road, overlooking Lumpini Park.
The hotel aims to provide guests with an authentic experience that reflects Thailand's rich cultural heritage. Tina Edmundson, president of Luxury at Marriott International, emphasised the hotel's commitment to personalised service and memorable experiences.
Designed by renowned architects SOM and A49, the hotel showcases a façade of open-air terraces that offer stunning views of the park and city skyline. Inside, the interior design by PIA captures a blend of traditional Thai artistry and contemporary sophistication.
Guests can choose from various accommodations, including Deluxe Rooms and luxurious suites with private terraces. The Club Lounge on the 23rd floor promises an exclusive retreat with tailored services and culinary presentations.
Dining options include three distinct restaurants. Duet by Michelin-starred chef David Toutain presents modern French cuisine in an innovative setting. Lily's offers a lively atmosphere with interactive dining experiences. Caleō serves afternoon teas and cocktails against breathtaking vistas.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa provides a serene environment for relaxation, featuring treatment rooms and a fitness centre. Two swimming pools offer refreshing escapes from the tropical heat.
The hotel's event spaces include the Grand Ballroom, which accommodates up to 1,200 guests. This venue is ideal for weddings and corporate events, equipped with advanced technology for seamless presentations.
Unique cultural experiences await guests through initiatives like 'Terrace Chi' tai chi sessions and creative tours of local art. These activities aim to engage visitors with Thailand's vibrant culture while providing opportunities for reflection and connection.
