This special showcase is held in collaboration with the EM District, the pioneering art destination of Sukhumvit, inviting city dwellers to reimagine the Sukhumvit area and the T77 Community through fresh perspectives. More than 88 artists unveil their works across The Emporium, The EmQuartier, The Emsphere, and the BTS Skywalk from now until 15 October.
“EMPRESSION 2025: IMAGINE SUKHUMVIT” brings together over 88 artworks that narrate the spirit of Sukhumvit in multiple dimensions. Alongside, Sansiri introduces works from five emerging artists under the SANSIRI ARTIZEN initiative, themed “Adding new dimensions to life for greater fulfilment.” Inspired by the T77 Community, Sansiri’s residential and community development in the heart of Sukhumvit – these works capture not only the vibrancy of city life but also the harmony between people, nature, and tranquillity.
Unlike exhibitions confined to galleries, this art journey blends seamlessly into everyday spaces – from shopping and coffee breaks to casual strolls within malls, offering visitors an intimate encounter with art that inspires fresh perspectives.
The five highlights from SANSIRI ARTIZEN offer distinct perspectives on Sukhumvit and the T77 Community. “In Between the Currents” by Pavee tells the story of bridging traditional ways of living with the dynamic forces of new creativity within the T77 neighbourhood. Meanwhile, Pi-near’s work, “Live Extra in the Ordinary”, reflects on the beauty of life’s simplest moments, encouraging viewers to slow down and discover joy in the present. In “Sukhumvit Haus – The Hidden Shade”, Ruangkhao reimagines the city’s towering skyline by weaving in lush pockets of greenery, evoking the sense of a hidden oasis amidst the urban bustle. IAMPER presents “The Gentle Blend”, an interpretation of the delicate equilibrium between urban living, community spirit, and the natural environment. Finally, “SUKHUMVIT: Midnight Layers” by Taweechob Pinthong channels the vibrant, almost surreal energy that defines Sukhumvit after dark, layering together its many dimensions of nightlife and urban rhythm.
