Guerlain writes a new chapter in the legend of men’s perfumery with the debut of Vétiver Fauve, the latest creation within the maison’s L’Art & La Matière masterpiece collection. Composed by Guerlain’s in-house perfumer Delphine Jelk, the fragrance draws inspiration from Rudyard Kipling’s timeless tale The Jungle Book, distilling the vibrancy of a living, breathing forest into a scent brimming with vitality.

Reimagining Guerlain’s emblematic vetiver accord—first introduced in 1959—Vétiver Fauve offers a more intense and nuanced interpretation in this new Eau de Parfum. Bright, verdant notes of lush tropical foliage awaken the senses, gradually unfolding into juicy touches of fig and pineapple, before settling upon a woody structure that echoes the freshness of a rainforest at dawn. The result is a fragrance that conjures the untamed allure of the jungle and its creatures on the move at first light.
Encased in the iconic octagonal flacon of L’Art & La Matière, crafted by glassmaking virtuoso Pochet du Courval, Vétiver Fauve glows in a luminous green hue. The silver-toned metal plaque adorning its cap is intricately hammered by hand to resemble dewdrops, a refined detail that transforms the bottle into a collector’s object of artistry.
