“…Banyan Group, the global hospitality leader, has entered a historic chapter with the launch of 100 Journeys, a worldwide 100-day celebration marking the official opening of its 100th hotel…”

This milestone is not only a countdown to a new era of growth, built over more than three decades since the very first resort in Phuket, but also a tribute to the people, places, and communities that have shaped the identity of Banyan Group at every step of its journey.

Running from 1 September to 9 December 2025, 100 Journeys culminates in Singapore with a week-long festival at Mandai Rainforest Resort from 27 November to 3 December. A series of discovery trails, wellbeing workshops, and community projects will highlight the essence of travel that goes beyond leisure, sharing values, creating impact, and leaving a lasting legacy. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the President’s Challenge, supporting local charities.

To honour this milestone, Banyan Group has curated 100 bespoke activities across its global destinations, each designed to reflect the spirit and culture of its locale. Guests may experience Tibetan black pottery at Banyan Tree Ringha, join a local cooking class at Cassia Phuket, practise Zen meditation in Kyoto, hike the golden rice terraces of Garrya Mu Cang Chai, dive among shipwrecks in the Maldives at Dhawa Ihuru, or capture the natural wonders of Mandai in a photography workshop. Each activity has been crafted to inspire curiosity and allow travellers to reflect on their own journey through authentic cultural encounters.

Guided by its philosophy of “Embracing the Environment, Empowering People”, Banyan Group continues to weave sustainability into its business, from coral reef conservation in the Maldives and the protection of endangered birds in Suzhou, to the release of more than 5,800 turtle hatchlings in Bintan, clean water initiatives, and the support of indigenous crafts. These initiatives create meaningful impact while offering guests the chance to participate through the Stay for Good programme, linking travel with purpose and community benefit.

At the heart of 100 Journeys are stories, of guests, associates, and local communities. Through a digital journal and online postcards, participants are invited to share transformative experiences and moments of inspiration. The 100 most compelling stories will each receive a USD 100 gift voucher, while three exceptional entries will be rewarded with complimentary stays.

The 100th journey of Banyan Group is therefore not simply the opening of a new hotel, but the dawn of a new chapter in travel, one that embodies care, conservation, and the profound meaning of journeys that connect people with the world.
